He takes damage from any kind of liquid or substance that isn't lava. Lava heals him. Solar element is different from Fire because it relies on the sun's heat, not the fire around him. Depending on the temperature, he can either be your worst nightmare, or a simple threat. His Shock shield spells offer him the defensive magic type, but he also has tons of offensive solar spells, ranking him with offensive as well.
