Just your friendly neighborhood voice audition project! READ BELOW UNDER "CHARACTERS" FOR SPECIFICS ON WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR. (Wanna' give y'all an edge. ;) ) Pretty simple instructions, but if you have any questions feel free to ask in the comments below! Click/tap the indigo bar or press space to proceed to the next slide. Record yourself saying lines in the "AUDITION HERE" sprite. (I know this description seems long, but it is important.) CHARACTERS: (You may try for as many characters as you'd like.) Depths: (Note: Production Team will be very picky about his voice. Looking for a guy with a deeper voice. Depths is kinda snarky, but hates to draw attention to himself.) Legacy: A girl voice. (Not a lot of specifics, but Legacy can be quite and emotional, while grounded, dragon. She's very strong and levelheaded, but is quick to change her feelings in a situation. Going from peppy to fierce and heartbroken and back. Looking for someone who can portray different emotions with their voice.) Doctor: Boy or girl. They'd sound quite a bit tired, and very apathetic to Depths' situation. Not that they aren't good at their job - they were just woken up at 2am to treat a well known criminal, who they don't really care to treat and are only doing so on the queen's orders. A logical fellow who doesn't make (or take) second opinions lightly. Guard #2: Boy or girl, no specifics. Guard #1: Same as above but you get more lines than they do. B) Background Kitchen characters: (For background characters, feel free to freestyle with some shouts or random phrases. Have fun with it and show how you can portray a reaction to a spontaneous kitchen fire.with your voice.) A COUPLE MORE TIPS: Don't be nervous, just have fun with it! There aren't a lot of characters for the first episode, so don't be too down if you don't get picked for one of them. There will be more auditions in the future! Try to record in a quiet place (such as a bathroom, bedroom, or anywhere else there's not a bunch of background sounds.) One thing you can do is pile some pillows or blankets around a small area and hold your phone or other microphone device inside as you record. This will insulate and help keep things quiet. To get more ideas on the characters and how they act, check out the TFT studio and roleplay threads. The storyline is pretty consecutive and fun to follow along with. (But that is a LOoooot of threads so you certainly don't have to!) If you want to do some freestyle acting alongside the given lines, go for it. I absolutely love that stuff and would love to see the kinds of stuff you're best at/what kind of energy you'd bring!
