- For my entry, I decided to enter for Bell Mask. - UGH I'm so sorry about the quality, Scratch totally ruined it. T-T - ABOUT - - Name: Kaze (Japanese for shadow) - Gender: Male - Personality: Brave, loyal, quiet, kind, and vengeful. - Backstory - - Kaze was the son of the Megumian royal family. His father and mother were rulers of the most powerful country in Mahomia. Having three brothers, Kaze was the most blessed. He was the eldest and was destined to be king when he came of age, but a wise kitsune named Kashikoi prophesized the power for the destruction of the kingdom rested in his paws. His mother and father were terrified and they eventually grew to fear Kaze. The young kitsune was young at the time, and he hadn't known of what Kashikoi predicted. Although as he grew older, he began to notice his father and mother trying to avoid him. Kaze would often catch them murmuring about him when they thought to be alone. Then one night, two days before he would become of age, Kaze and his two brothers were playing a game in the castle gardens when they encountered an infamous tiger named Satsujin-sha who was known for killing Kaze's grandfather. The three brothers were trapped, and the tiger said that the only way they may escape was Kaze gave him his kitsune magic. Kaze replied saying that he would never give him his kitsune magic, but that he would sacrifice himself if that meant his brothers would live. The tiger was enraged, and instead of killing Kaze, he killed the youngest brother, Tora, instead. Kaze was horrified, and Satsujin-sha offered to make Kaze's remaining brother, Uragiru, heir to the throne by framing Kaze for Tora's death, and then killing him so Uragiru would appear to have killed him as revenge for killing Tora. After a moment's hesitation, and to Kaze's horror, Uragiru agreed. The tiger then leaped at Kaze and made an attempt to kill him, but with swift moves and unrelenting power fueled by his anger, Kaze killed Satsujin-sha. Uragiru tried to escape so he wouldn't be killed by his mother and father for his betrayal, but Kaze was furious and caught him, ending his life. When Kaze returned to the spot where he had killed Satsujin-sha, he discovered the body had mysteriously disappeared, and all that was left was the body of Tora. His father and mother came up to him with a set of guards hearing the fight. Kaze tried to explain what had happened, but now that the body of the tiger had disappeared, he knew his mother and father would never believe him. They then assumed he had evil intentions because of Kashikoi's mysterious prediction and the killing of Tora and Uragiru, and they commanded the guards to execute him. Kaze had never felt more betrayed in that moment, even more than when his brother agreed to Satsujin-sha's offer. And when the guards came for him, he fought with great might and killed every single one of them. Only his mother and father remained, frozen to to where they stood. Filled with fear, they knelt to the ground cowering beneath their son. Kaze, although he was furious with them, refused to please whatever evil was inside of him, and let them go without harm. Yet even though Kaze had showed them mercy, his mother and father sent a band of skilled kitsune after him that could use their magic to kill him. Kaze then fled out of his kingdom shadowed by a terrible foretelling that had ruined his future, searching for a way to get revenge on the kitsune that had betrayed him, yet falling into the very trap Kashikoi had prophesized.
