NOW HOLD YOUR HORSES! Don't worry, this doesn't mean I'm leaving also. You might've misread the title a bit. I just wanted to talk about this issue and how it affects me. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- It's always a common factor for myself that whenever I see someone major in the Scratch art community make their final departure, it demotivates and hurts me. Like, one day you are hanging out with someone you been looking up to for many years, and then the next day, they're just gone. You cannot hang out with them again. Same can be said here on Scratch. When a big artist leaves, it just fills me to the brim with a feeling of anxiety. A feeling in which my days of supporting them are put to a final halt, where motivation for me to do anything fun here like drawing drops to a scarce level. It's scary, really. But you have to deal with what you have to deal with, unfortunately. Unless they decide to still check here every so often to chat with people, this still seems like something that really wants me to feel like I don't belong here anymore. So what solutions can ease this drastic issue? Well, most likely, the artists that are leaving still have a part of their internet life still on the active line, so coming with them on the other sites seems like a good option. When they say that they will move on from the world wide web to focus on doing other important things in the real world though? Not so much. But you know what could be a better option? Knowing the reason behind their move on from Scratch and understanding why it's a good choice for them. I myself as an artist has full knowledge in the Scratch art community. One part of that knowledge says that anything can happen, and that "anything" is zooming by way quicker than before. With old faces heading out, and many new ones coming in, the Scratch art community sure has changed a lot over the years, hasn't it? But here's the thing: Change doesn't only happen here though. It can happen with your family, the stores in a mall, literally anywhere and anything you can imagine. And we can learn that it's A-OK when things decide to take a different turn. Because let's be honest, things are always changing with reason. Exactly like when members of the Scratch art community come and go. So let this explanation be an important life lesson into how we can deal with change. It's gonna be hard at first when it comes, but after things have settled after, it will feel like it never happened.

Description

Again, I'm not leaving, this is just me talking about people leaving. No offence to them.
