Instructions

- Introducing ScratchSpeed - ScratchSpeed allows you to test the speed of your computer when running Scratch. This project is designed to test your computer's performance while running Scratch games, animations, etc. that might be tougher for a computer to handle. - The Tests - ScratchSpeed currently runs 3 main tests: Variable Speed, Graphics Speed, and Cloning Speed. Variable speed simply measures how fast your computer can increment (+1) a variable. If this is slow, your computer might lag on projects involving a lot of math, such as 3D engines. Graphics Speed moves a 1x1 sprite to every pixel on the screen. If this value is low, your computer might lag on pen-based projects. Cloning Speed tests how fast your computer can generate and move clones. If this is slow, your computer might lag on tile-scrolling games, such as @griffpatch's Geometry Dash games. - Future Improvements - I plan on improving the projection of your computer's speed you get at the end of your test when people start using the project more and I get statistics on average scores (see below).

Description

- Important Notices - This is an application designed purely for testing purposes. I strongly discourage any attempts to deliberately crash a device by opening multiple tabs of this application. (Don't ask me why I had to put this here...) If you are a Scratcher, your score will be logged into the cloud purely for statistical purposes. However, the scores are kept in a cloud-encoded list (unviewable in the cloud vars tab) and only you can see your scores within the project. Only I have access to the full list of scores. If you would not like your score to be reported, please sign out before using the project. However, please note that these statistics are used to help improve the project.
