(( Note: This is a new AU, so there will be changes, And the story is from Clara's point of view. Enjoy! )) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ INTRODUCTION: Hi, I'm Clara Dale. You may be wondering why I wrote this journal, or just simply curious. You can sit down and get comfortable-because this is going to be a very long story... WEEK 1: SUMMER OF 2017 So ,something strange happened to me today while I went to get something from the flea market five blocks away from where my mom and me live. I may have accidently brought home a living animatronic...Here's how it happened: I rode my bike to the flea market, stopping in front of the house as usual. (My mom sends me here for clothes or for random things, so it's not like it's my first time.) And I see a old guy at one table, reading a newspaper. As curious as I was, I hesitated before I walked over to him...But then I came over there. I saw some art supplies on the table. I thought about getting it, but my mom sent me for some blankets, so I ignored it. "Excuse me, sir?" I spoke to the old man. The guy looked up from the newspaper. "Yes, miss?" He said politely. I looked around, not seeing anything of my interest. Then I saw a bag-It seemed full. I thought it was full of blankets at first. Being me, I pointed to the bag. "Is that for sale?" The man looked at me, and I thought I saw a bit of fear in his eyes before his grey eyes went into an unreadable expression. "Of course, ya' want it?" The old guy sounded a bit surprised. A bit worried as I should have been, I nodded. The man nodded. "Alright, seven dollars...That'll be all." I handed him the seven dollars from my purse and he pulled the bag from under the table. It must've been really heavy for a few blankets, and it was heavy for me too. When I got home that day, I curiously took the bag to my room to sort out what I thought was blankets, instead I saw an animatronic rabbit inside the bag. I jumped back in surprise. "What the-?!" Luckily, my mom wasn't home yet, so she didn't hear me yell. I looked at the rabbit, which was at least taller than me. I'm short for a fifteen year old, so I was nervous. I took it out of the bag, and tried to carry the yellow thing to the attic. It was SUPER heavy! I barely made it into the attic without gasping for breath. Though, when I put the thing down, I felt a shiver go down my spine. It had a long scar over one of it's eyes. I ignored it and went to the kitchen, meeting my mom there. Everything went okay, and I told my mom I was still sorting the blankets. She nodded. "Okay dear, just be careful." I felt bad I lied to my mom-but later that night I had a strange dream. There was a black haired boy, staring at me with fear in his purple eyes. I was trying to save him from someone, I guess, but that's when I woke up. And that's also when I saw the rabbit at the edge of my bed. I tried not to scream-and thank goodness I didn't! I crouched by the rabbit. Suddenly the next thing I knew I was reaching for it's face. It's eyes shot open, and I quickly pulled my hand back. It's eyes were a sort-of glowing pink color. And then it yawned. "Huh? Wh-Where am I?" The rabbit spoke in a male, glitchy voice. He started looking around. Then his gaze rested on me. I yelped, starting to back away. But I stopped as the rabbit spoke. "Uh-Hi?" He said. "I-I'm Springtrap. Who are you?" I hesitated, but spoke. "I'm Clara Dale...N-Nice to meet you." Springtrap nodded. There was a bit of silence between the two of us for a moment. "How'd you get in that bag?" I asked, suddenly breaking the silence. Springtrap shrugged. "I dunno...." More silence. I'm not really used to awkward silence...So I just asked another question. "So...How old are you?" "Sixteen." Springtrap replied after a moment of hesitation. "I'm fifteen." I responded, looking towards the window in my room. Springtrap let out a snort of laughter. "What?" "I guess that's why you're shorter than me." Springtrap snickered. "Because you're fifteen!" I blushed in embarrassment. "Well-You sort-of look older than sixteen..." "Are you saying I look like an old man?" Springtrap said with fake hurt. "N-No! I-" He started laughing, but I frowned. Springtrap looked at me, and when he saw me frowning his eyes changed colors to purple. I guess it meant he was sad, because he looked down. "I-I'm sorry..." He spoke, sounding like he was sorry for real. I went closer and hugged him. "It's okay, silly..." I spoke kindly. Springtrap grinned at me, his eyes changing back to pink. The next morning I must've fell asleep besides him, because I woke up next to Springtrap. I hope my mom didn't see him...Oh well. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 2: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/569257836/ ---------------------------------------------------------------------
