Yesterday, I visited my favorite pond at sunset. I realized I wanted to capture its beauty in a Scratch project. The water and trees are actual images of the pond, and the sky is generated with pen. How I did this: - I took a short video of the pond. - I used GIF Brewery to convert the video into a GIF, and to crop the video to just the pond. I uploaded GIF into Scratch and wrote a script to switch between costumes. - I took one of the images of the whole pond and cut out the trees. Then I cut the trees into 3 pieces and added parallax scripting. - I used pen to create the sunset, because I wanted to make it look like a painting.
