Their mother was a mudwing, and didn’t want a hybrid as a child. The mother dropped the egg from high in the Sky, hoping it wouldn’t survive the fall. Luckily, the egg did survive. The egg had been wedged between 2 branches. The egg was okay, and Pottery soon hatched. They lived their life in the rainforest the whole time after it.
