Description

This is a giant vinegaroon (Mastigoproctus Giganteus) and they are from Arizona, Mexico, and Texas (There are other vinegaroons that goes by the name "giant vinegaroon"). They are arachnids which means they are related to spiders, scorpions, amblypygids, solpugids, mites, etc. they are carnivores and they eat insects and arachnids smaller than themselves. They are blind but they have 8 eyes that only can detect light and darkness. They feel their way through their habitat by feeling with their antennae-form legs. They are nocturnal which means they are awake at night. They get their name from the fact that they can spray acid that smells like vinegar when they are threatened. They are completely harmless to humans and the acid is mainly for breaking down chitin-the material that creates the exoskeleton of many arthropods, including insects. That's all the information I have right now, but she still needs a name so if you have any ideas put them in the comments.
