Press space Backstory for Ruby: Ruby was always banned from going into the forest but one day curiosity got the better of her. She went into the forest at night and found a cave. Inside, it was magnificent. There were tons of tunnels to explore, with beautiful glowing red stalactites. She started going there at night, sneaking out every night while her parents were sleeping. One night, she was exploring and found a tunnel. She went inside it, and in it was a gigantic ruby crystal. She aproached it, and suddenly, her paws began to glow. She looked down at them in wonder, then she felt something blast her off her feet. She looked around frantically to see who had pushed her, but then her reflection in the crystal caught her eye. Her eyes were pure black instead of black and white, and then she heard a voice. "YOU ARE CONFINED TO THE CAVES FOREVER AND YOU CANNOT EVER GET OUT." Ruby still haunts the cave, never being able to escape. Backstory for Opal: Opal agreed to take on the job of a spirit-seer. This meant that she would have to cut ties with everyone and speak only with spirits and the other seers. She became lonely, and went to the town, were she made friends with Sparkle. They decided to meet in secret every night, despite of Opal's promise to the seers. They grew closer, and then Opal felt like she wanted to be with Sparkle and be a seer. She went back to the seer-camp after she spoke with Sparkle, but she was caught and exiled. Sparkle and Opal ran away together, and live together happily.
