— — — ♥ Introduction Thank you all so, so, so much for getting me to 200+! I honestly didn’t think I’d get here this quickly, if at all. (And yes, I know that I’ve had this account for almost 3 years now, but I’ve only been active for a few months-) So, to celebrate, I made you this DTA. Enjoy! — — — ♥ Information DTA stands for Draw to Adopt. It’s a competition where I design and provide some (hopefully) unique characters, and, if you’d like, you can compete to win one of the designs. How do you compete for one? By drawing the character! Things like animation, a detailed backstory/bio, etc. can get you extra points, but I’ll mainly be judging by the art. The winner gets to keep the design, and make it their own character :) Also, there are currently 7 designs, all of them cats(?), but I WILL be adding some pride designs/hopefully some humanoid designs soon as well, if I can get around to it! — — — ♥ Rules ~ Entry MUST be 100% your own art; no stealing, tracing, or using bases ~ Please make your entry a remix, or it most likely will not count! ~ You can enter for as many designs as you want, but remember, you can still only win for one ~ Repeatedly putting down yourself or others will result in disqualification. Everyone’s art is beautiful >:0 ~ Dark backstories are totally fine, and I love reading them, but… just remember to make it Scratch appropriate! If there’s something in your entry that could possibly trigger/offend/scare someone, remember to include a warning ~ There’s no need to tell me that you’re entering, just remix the project and go right ahead! ~ You’re allowed to change the design slightly, just please still make it recognizable and true to the original. If you’d like to change the species, just ask me first, and.. I’ll probably say yes :) — — — ♥ Designs ~ Rainfall ~ Rose ~ Void ~ Dreamer ~ Amethyst ~ Forest ~ Nightlight — — — ♥ Tips ~ Add shading, lighting, and/or complex detail ~ Change the pose ~ Make multiple drawings, or enter for multiple designs (but still, quality > quantity) ~ Add animation, make an animatic, animation meme, etc. ~ A good, full, backstory!! This will help a lot, but if you can’t think of one, making a bio is good too. I’ll also read every single backstory, I promise :)
Backstory is a bit sad Name : Rosethorn Gender : She-cat Backstory : As a kit, she was treated badly. Her parents didn’t want and neither did her siblings. So, she became bitter, like a thorn. And when her parents couldn’t take any more of her bad behavior, they kicked her out. After a few moons of traveling, she found the clans. She was taken in by ThunderClan and was nursed back to health. There she found joy and worked hard as a warrior. And soon she found her soulmate. Together they journeyed together and descended to StarClan together. And now, they journey together as spirits.
