SPOILERS FOR REVEAL BELOW -------------------------- What is Friday Nightmare Funkin'? FNmF is a Friday Night Funkin' parody of Little Nightmares and Little Nightmares 2. Featuring characters from various parts of the world of Little Nightmares, Boyfriend will rap battle his way through the plot of both games in an ambitious two part series, much like the games themselves. Each enemy will have their own unique gimmicks, in reference to their in game mechanics. Liberties WILL be taken where applicable, so don't expect the plot to be followed to a T. The Mod(s) will focus on the GAMES, so don't expect any characters from the comics or cut content to be opponents, rather small cameos here and there with zero plot relevance. THE PLOT: ---------------- It seems Daddy Dearest has tried to funk up Boyfriend for the Nth time by dropping him and Girlfriend into another random video game in the hopes that whatever resides in there will dispatch the blue haired midget. Fortunately for BF and GF, BF's plot armor still holds up in this new world, meaning no harm can come to him unless he screws up his lines. Unfortunately... this new world is the one of Little Nightmares, and now BF must spit bars against the unending hordes of monstrous villains and creeps that roam this eldritch-apocalyptic universe, in the hopes that he and GF can find an exit to this madness. Along the way, amidst the filth and horror, the duo will find others who will help them... or at least not try and kill them on sight. Will the two lovebirds be able to escape from this new Nightmare? Or will they finally succumb to this broken world, and forever be lost within it's terrible shattered landscape? Only one way to find out... FOOTNOTES: ------------------- Most players are expected to have basic rhythm game experience prior to playing this mod (when and if it eventually comes out). No tutorials, no preparation, a test of your skills and quick thinking is in order. Whether it be the many gimmicks, (or my admittedly bad charting), This mod is a test of your fancy fingerwork, and won't hold back. Due to the limitations of my knowledge, resources, and personal capabilities, this mod will most likely take place on the Scratch Engine. If I manage to put together a team to develop this on an optimized FNF engine such as Kade, I will let you know. The development cycle for now will consist of Music, Art, Animation, and gimmick programming. No charting will be done until I find time to begin building the games one at a time. The first release is planned to be of the 2nd game. I know this may come off as odd, but I started initial development on characters from the second game before the project received a working title, therefore I will stick with it for the foreseeable future. --------------------------
