Me and a close Scratch friend, @Boravejder decided to do a collab! He gave me some sprites, and here are his. ================Spaceships================= -The top left spaceship is a pirate Omega-class destroyer. It has two ion artillery batteries, and one grid cannon. They are the pride and joy of the pirate fleet, because of how many they managed to salvage from the UNN fleet left behind in the Omicron system, and how easy it is to upgrade. In the game, I think they will be some of the most common pirate ship to run into. -The one beside the Omega-class is a Stinger AFC (Automated Fighter Craft), also pirate-owned space technology. In the game, they will probably be small and not very sturdy, but their two HRAs (Hyper-Reactive Artillery) and unholy speed, it will really deep-fry your nerves and put your OCD on end-the-entire-world mode. ================Weapons=================== -The big one that was on the Omega-class is a grid cannon, one of the most powerful weapons to legally (in the UNN's perspective, the pirates don't really care about war regulations at all) be put on a ship, the cream of the crop, the .50 caliber rifle of these, or any other military spacecraft. As the name mentions, the grid cannon's extreme power comes from a, well, grid of energy collectors, channeling the energy from the weapon's mini reactor into a big ball of raging Ḋ̶͈ ̶̘̉̕ͅE̴̬̒ ̸̦̼͘A̵̘̺͑͊ ̵̙́T̶̩͑͠H̸̙͎̽͗, where, once it's at max power, boom. It will decimate every ship, no matter how thick the shields are. In game, I envision it taking an ungodly amount of time to recharge, but when it does, it will DEFINITELY be worth it! -The one beside the grid cannon is a CEMP weapon, a rather odd weapon. It doesn't try to eradicate, but to just stop every single function in a ship that requires electricity. CEMP means "concentrated electro-magnetic pulse." Basically that is a cannon that does the same damage to spacecraft as dropping your smartphone in water, frying all electrical systems in the path of it's signature purple beam. =================Planets=================== -The blue planet is Oshinamu, the ocean planet of Omicron. A planetary geode 1.5 times the mass of Earth, isn't anything interesting on land, just rocky beaches. But if you look underwater, the sea flourishes with alien fish and sea organisms of every shape and size! With an ocean 5 times as deep as Earth's own, there is a haven of things to do and visit. Just keep an eye out for Oshinami dragon whales, nasty buggers... -The lumbering rock next-door to Oshinamu (in this project and in the Omicron system) is Rakoviks, which, like Oshinamu, looks normal (maybe even dissapointing) to the untrained eye. But land and look around, it is eerie, abandoned dig station central. That is because, under the surface, is a whole myriad of precious minerals, from platinum, gold, uranium, you name it, Rakoviks has it! This tempted many prospecters to set up camp on Rakoviks, but when the space pirates took over and set up their facist government, the scared-for-their-life miners just packed up their finds and left the Omicron system for good. And that's it! I hope these current sprites were good enough!
