Lore: Truth is not something easily obtainable in the city of Arcadia. Most, if asked, would tell you how wonderful life is under the leadership of their ruler, Zygarde, and how they’re so grateful for the protection from the outside world. However, there are a few who might admit that they feel as though there’s an atmosphere that is somewhat... sinister. Little do they know, they weren’t the first to think that. A Gallade had once uncovered a deadly secret about Zygarde and the city they ruled. A secret he was killed for. The few others that this Gallade had told his findings to escaped from Arcadia’s walls to live among the Pokémon on the outside. They started an organization that aimed to overthrow Zygarde, but they quickly lost their ideals and broke apart. At least, that’s what it looked like from the outside. What was that secret that the Gallade discovered, you ask? Well, the whole truth of it has been lost to time. Only Hydrangea, a Meganium and the leader of the secret organization, might know, but she refuses to say anything about it. But, it might have something to do with the recent rumors of strange Pokémon with hexagonal patterns…
Basic Info: So! That’s all the story that you’ll get for now, take it or leave it. This RP takes place about a decade or so after the Gallade did his whole shindig. The organization is now led by a charming Meganium called Hydrangea (girlboss). Also, the pokémon with hexagonal patterns are the Depraved, a secret group controlled by Zygarde. They generally have extra features such as spikes, hexagonal patterns (not optional), green eyes, pretty much anything extra that makes them look intimidating. Should you choose to play as a Depraved Pokémon, there are certain rules you must follow, which will be explained within the rules section. Arcadia is the main city, although there is also a small town outside of it called Zenith, which is not under Zygarde’s control. Zenith is where Hydrangea’s organization lives, although there are plenty of ‘mon living there who aren’t members of it. Almost all of the places aside from Arcadia are not controlled by Zygarde, although there is one mountain that seems to be guarded for unknown reasons, wonder why that is haha. The Depraved Pokémon live in an underground place underneath Arcadia. The setup is kinda like Mauville City in ORAS but a lot larger and full of scary, angry Pokémon who will fight each other for fun. The more powerful and favored a Depraved Pokémon is, the closer they are allowed to live towards the surface. That’s all for the basic info, so now onto the extensive list of non-negotiable rules! (it’s not really that strict I swear) Rules: •Make as many characters as you can keep track of •Just don’t be a jerk to others lol •No controlling other people’s characters •Keep it appropriate please qwq •Have fun (this is required) •Hybrids and Deltas are allowed but don’t go overboard pls •No legendaries/mythicals (unless phione, but why??) •No making a bunch of overpowered Pokémon •No giving Pokémon moves that they normally can’t learn (TM/TR moves are fine) •Hidden abilities are fine, but don’t give them to like all your Pokémon lol •Depraved Pokémon must live in the underground area of Arcadia and cannot interact with regular Pokémon on purpose •Please don’t have a lot of characters leave Arcadia especially in the beginning •Codeword is an emoticon (like :3 or :0), put it in the description of your signup to be accepted •Also, Pokémon can become Depraved, but it is impossible (for now) for them to be switched back •Pokémon who aren’t a part of Hydrangea’s organization are not aware of it •Most non-Depraved Arcadia citizens are blissfully unaware of both the outside world and the chaos going on in the city •Just generally characters can’t know more than they’re supposed to unless it’s deliberately revealed by a character who does within the roleplay •You don’t have to ask to sign up, just wait for a comment of acceptance on your remix to start RPing with the character • Also, if there’s anything else of note for your character please put it in the description of your remix •If you are unsure if you are breaking any of these rules just ask us! -^-
