Fading Away is a book about a girl named Mavin and her cat, Stripes. She has a little brother named Caleb. Stripes could see a certain ghost named Mischief, and Mischief wants to deliever a message to <either its owner or Mavin>. Mavin could tell Stripes was distracted by something, but she couldn't tell what. The word "Mavin" means "one who understands". We chose that name because ONE: it was a mixture of our names, and TWO: Mavin needs to understand her cat and what it's trying to say. P.S. I would want to make this a movie if it was published.
