I think you know where this is going Aaaaa Most people know that if you tag people on other social media sites with for example @Glitch-Tech, they're pinged and they get notified for that. WELLL- I don't think most people know this but how do I say this- you *can't* ping someone on scratch :'D the only way that someone gets notified on scratch is when someone replies anywhere on their profile, or they reply. Pinging DOESN'T work. I repeat, doesn't. I've seen several instances where people would try to ping people like Why would you do that? Pinging doesn't work :] Ig what I'm trying to say is Don't do it It looks like as if you don't know that you can't ping people on scratch and I dont really know why you would want to ping people on scratch in the first place? Just comment on their profile, reply to a comment you had with them, comment on one of their projects, etc. But if pinging did exist WELLLL- I'd be flooding with mail :D And sometimes I may be pinged for something annoying and unrelated- So I think it's a good thing that pinging doesn't work on scratch :] So don't do it, caphice? (I think I spelt it wrong akjsdhkaj) Conclusion: Please don't try and attempt to ping someone on scratch, it really doesn't work, and it kinda makes you feel like an idiot :') I've been trying to say this the most reasonable and non hurtful as I can, I am terribly sorry if I offended anyone >.<
