To play with music maker: First download it. How you record a tune: You select record below the part of the song that you want to make. Then, you press the buttons on the keyboard that are the same as the notes you want to play. If you hold down 1 and press your note, it will be sharp. (Unfortunately, In this version all of the notes I have are middle c-treble b, but in the next version I will fix that). How you record drums: First, you select the record button below percussion. Z is cymbal. X is bass drum. V is timbale. K is snare. N is hi-hat. M is triangle. H is bongo. J is cowbell. How to control note length: To control note length, first select which part you're recording. 4 is quarter note. 8 is eighth note. 2 is a half note. 3 is one triplet. 0 is a whole note. How to play your parts once they're done: To play your parts alone, select which part you want to hear by clicking on the different record buttons. Then, press space. To play them all together, hold down 1 and press space. To delete your music: Click the green flag while holding down 1. (I'm sorry you can't delete individual parts, I'll include that in the next version.) To make rests in between your notes: Sorry, in this version you can't. To record singing: Click the record button below vocals. There's info there. To change instruments: Press the up and down arrows to scroll, and stop when the first instrument on the Instruments list is the one you want. (There are 25+!)
