Name: Slog Species: Hartan Deer Backstory: Slog is a Hartan Deer, a type of deer that when of age, chose an element or something to do with nature, changing their appearance to the appropriate choice. Slog chose a marsh, since he felt most at home in the swampy setting where it was quiet and otherworldly, but still... normal. His appearance changed to what it looks like today. Sadly, the other Hartan Deer were angered by his decision, and sliced his left ear with a sharp rock. Slog ran to the marsh and buried himself in the muck until the other deer stopped pursuing him. He emerged and lived there for the rest of his life in peace, since the swamp and Slog was deemed a bad influence for future Hartan Deer children, and the elders cut it off with a barrier. Since then, no other Hartan Deer have chosen Swamp/Marsh as their element, believing the element to be cursed. I like entering in Dtas now- they give me a chance to draw other things and make backstories I can't make otherwise.
