wait how did i win FINALLY, A PROCESS! I've been meaning to do one of these forever. Also I WANNA WIN. A LOT. Process: 1: I usually turn off stabilizers when doing a sketch to save time. It's mostly for anatomy. 2: I do most of the work on the lineart. I turn stabilizers up to 85, and go over my rough sketch. 3: My base colour. Usually the most used colour in the drawing/ref. helps me colour the rest. 3b: If you're hand-colour the picture you're working on, (better that filling, improves the quality) make a new layer under your lineart. 4: patterns. had to change a bit since i altered the design a bit. 4b: never use neon colours. It's just ugly. 5: shading. Unlike lots of people, I don't blur/smudge my shading. I don't even set my layer to multiply. I like my shading sharp ig. I just make a new layer, set the opacity to 20/30%, and shade 6: lighting. the same as the last one, but I make the opacity 40/50%. 7: Higlights. same as the last one, but opacity is 70% 8-9: scrapped stuff. I added a brown background and orange gradients since i wanted it to look like a house was burning down. Since then I've changed the backstory, and I don't think it looked very good like this anyway. 10: got rid of orange gradients and changed background to grey (so that it was nice and monochrome) 11: Ghost lineart. I was too far in to do a sketch soooooooooooooo... 12: I cloned the ghost lineart layer and made a small blur from behind to make the ghosts look glowy, but I set it too low, so there's no difference (sad) 13: ghost colour. lowered opacity for this. I still used white though. 14: A little grey gradient (greydient?) fron the top right corner. 15: I cloned the base colour layer, put it behind the main drawing, and lowered the opacity. 16: A grey thing in the top left corner because i thought it looked cool at the time. 17: a watermark because people like to steal art and claim it as their own (it's even worse when they recolour it and but neon gradients on it) 18: DOOOOONE

His parents were witches (?) and they often communicated with the ethereal world. One day, when he was playing in a corner, one of the ghosts escaped, and he didn't hear (because he couldn't). It went on a rampage in the nearby town, and the villagers managed to track the source of the ghost to the house in which he lives ( it's on a hill btw).
