In 2001(?), the Korean Broadcasting Service had sent a letter to the creators of Pikwik requesting that once the show had launched in the United States, that KBS would make a Korean Dub of the series. However, for safety reasons, the name of the creators of Pikwik will be anonymous.
The letter translates to the following: "Dear anonymous, We have seen that you are making a new series called "Pikwik", and we have one simple request from you. Our request is that once you release the series to American television, we request that you allow us the dub the series in Korean for Korean television. Thank you for listening. From - Korean Broadcasting Service"
