Mordetwi - Art Process MLP ship-art that I’ve found all over the place so I’ve finally decided to do this (After a lot of begging which came from @cooiio-, @solarsea, & @wiiderness) & save the process :’) Personally I don’t follow the MLP fandom so I don’t really know why this ship is so popular and whatever lmao. Reference art by zigguratz (on the app/website that has a bird on it) which is inside the project :D Pretty much a redraw trying to do it in my style-ish. Process: Messy outline/sketch - The very messy sketch,, no big explanation to be honest lol Lineart - Satisfying to see it come from a messy sketch to this :P Base colouring - I love using lock alpha now :pleading_face: it’s super epic and just helps a lot Shading - I used a purple to experiment with it,, and I tried shading differently once again :> Shading #2 - Basically change it to luminosity and there you have it *cool face* Highlights - MAKES THE ART BETTERR, I used more of a neon-pink-purple colour Detail - :star_struck: Background - Not my favourite,, but we’ll leave it like that More detail - Added a shooting star, and I don’t know what you call it but a glow effect to the back I guess?
