(BACK AT THE LAB, SANS) :: I cant believe this happened, Alphys quit being the royal scientist, and left me as replacement. It's a horrible day, I guess.. The test subjects we're already here, but Alphys wasn't. Since I was in her place... I had to do her tests for her. I read her notes, and her findings we're...strangely terrible, with these pills of "Determination.." , Its easy to mess up ...Her notes we're too hard to read. The handwriting was sloppy, like some kind of code. There was vials of determination next to them, is this what all this work was for..? I was still left with no other choice but to follow directions, Gaster was somewhere else, and I was really confused... Yet the test subjects we're sitting there. Waiting, as if it was expected. I hesitated for a moment, till I realized why they we'rent here. They we're watching me on the security camera above. Forced by that motive.. I injected them with DETERMINATION...but, nothing happened. Nothing at all. I waited a few days, nothing still. Until I began injecting more determination. They're physical form was completely turned into goop, and they fused into something..different. Alphy's probably would've handled it better, but... I ruined it. I ruined it!? I RUINED IT!? The more and more I thought about it the more I clenched my fingers struggling to figure out what to do... I noticed that I might just get fired for this. I really messed up.. If only Alphys didn't quit... I tried hiding them. I shoved the fused..goopy mess into a closet. Seemingly stressed I was asked countless times if something was wrong, I immediantly respond with "No, I'm okay, just thinking." I can't believe this happened...Sooner or later they're gonna find them. And... Getting fired is not all that I'm worried about. I don't know what might happen to the test subjects if anyone saw just a glimpse, I would be blamed. They didn't have hopes for me on this in the first place, and now they won't trust me at ALL. So I tried helping Gaster with his experiments to keep my mind off it. Since they no longer needed my help as the 'Royal Scientist,' No, I'm not going to be replaced by my actual job as just an assistant. Cause thats all I am, aren't I? Well, sooner or later while helping with Gaster, he treated me like just any other worker around here. Just here to do their job, and help free monsters to the surface. Doing this for the same cause. I always admired how he kept working and working, but he never had the time just to hangout or talk. I just want to maybe relax a bit, take a break, maybe finally get some soda after being told its unhealthy. I sooner or later found out Gaster has spilled some chemicals. I paniced, "Quick! You should head to the cleaning closet-" Before I realized my mistake, he ran off to get the cleaning supplies... ::
