While visiting him, Dream managed to take one of her Canon lives. She felt awful she couldn't protect Tommy. (Hence why she's so clingy.) One day, she sees DreamXD log on and decides to talk to him. She of course is scared by his presence, but warms up to him. DreamXD asks her why she wanted to talk with him. She told him about what Tommy was facing with Dream and how she felt she failed him by not protecting him. DreamXD felt bad for the both of them and offered to form an alliance with her. She accepts.
