It may take a couple of minutes before you get to the FPC application part but I did this to add an experience. When you're on the spaceship, to go out of the FPC Parts list or Map just press space. You can't go to Earth until all FPC Parts have been retrieved. When you're in the actual FPC application, press left arrow to exit page.
