Ever since this Maglett was imprisoned and forced to do dangerous work, he had always harbored a hatred for the people who imprisoned him. But when his head exploded leaving him unable to do anything, he was sent to be scrapped to make more "competent" robots, but when an essence of darkness and magic entered his body, he was revived! In place of where most of his head used to be, there was now a pocket dimension which was able to suck things up if need be.
