Please don't ask me to join these unless you're a good friend of mine already (they're the only ones I'm really willing to do this with) Hey! This is my first AT in a while, but before anyone asks, I'm not really planning to do any more with anyone who I don't know pretty well first. In general, the people I'm good friends with are the only ones I'm that open to doing ATs with atm. :) Which is why, when @Lirey reached out asking if I'm up for one, I said yes. This is @Lirey's character, Raven. You can find her reference pages inside this project (in the extra sprite) or here: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/463063221/ She was really fun to draw! I was trying to create her as if she was a human, since birds are pretty hard to draw when they are anthropomorphic haha (@Lirey does a really good job of that, they're so talented!) I did end up going with a beak-mask though, because why not. :) Anyways, my favorite part was definitely the planning (you can find my planning sketches as well as some notes in the project too). :) I was trying to figure out how the head-feather things would translate to hair or a hat or something, I really liked the idea of a french braid going into a messy bun at back. It was fairly difficult to do the braid bit, but it was super fun! (My reference for that section is inside as well). Honestly, this turned out a lot better than expected, I loved shading the elbows and giving the character a bit of a *blooosh*~ the one thing I'd change, maybe, is the detail of the hair... it's so much more detailed than it should be, at least compared to the rest of it all!
