You can click on them to make them stop going insane for a sec or two. Green thingy to go to shop, door to go out. It will change when you get the backdrop upgrade. Tap to get things in the shop. Changing to the Realistic costume will make the dancers stop visual effects. NOTE: Once you get the backdrop upgrade, the dancer will change. You won't be able to change it back.
