Click or space to view images I work at an animal care center and have been since March 2020. Its like a shelter, vet clinic, boarding place, and daycare all in one. It has its ups and down, because after all work is work, but I think I got rather lucky to land this as my first job. My official title is Kennel and Daycare Attendant, but Animal Janitor fits too. It's always loud, because dogs like to bark way to much. I like the cats way more than the dogs ngl. They just are a lot quieter. And you know, listening to 30+ dogs bark nonstop for 36 hours a week is a bit draining on the ears. We do have ear plugs but they just... aren't as helpful as they should be lol. The kittens are the best part. I love the kittens. They are always so sweet.
