Scratch Art Camp Oct 2021 - Leader Applications Hello everyone! Welcome to the 4th session of Scratch Art Camp. Here are the October 2021 leader signups for this session! This session the host is @PandasCodingGames (Poem) and the co-hosts are @MouseyT (Minn), @-PeacockPea- (Pia), and @rainyweek (Seven)! Please read everything in the description and slides if you're interested in applying. Thank you to everybody who has helped SAC past and present. We couldn't have done it without you all! —-≾ Scratch Art Camp (abbreviated as SAC) is a tri-annual (meaning three times a year) online art camp here on Scratch. The months that SAC is partaken in are February, June, and October. You make a goal on how long you want to spend doing art, and try to reach that by the end of the month. You'll be placed into one of the lodges, and you can do dailies and weekendlies to earn points for your lodge. To learn more information about SAC, feel free to read the FAQ: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/555823473/ All (co) leader applications are due by August 18th at 11:59PM EDT. On the 19th of August, the (co-) hosts will decide leaders and notify them! Co-leaders are chosen by leaders, not hosts - and they'll be asked between the 19th through 30th. All applications will be checked out after you remix it, and after the deadline, just in case you changed anything to your application. Interested in applying for (co) leader, but don't know which to apply for? Leaders preferably have more responsibility than the co-leaders since they're more in charge of the lodge - which possibly leads to making lodge decisions. Leaders are promoted in the main lodge, and will be able to add points there, where as co-leaders will remain curators and will be unable to add points. Both co-leaders and leaders will be able to add art minutes in their lodge. We all communicate and plan in a discussion forum. I've never been a leader and/or never have participated in SAC before - Can I apply or will more experienced people be chosen over me? Each lodge will have either a co-leader or leader that is experienced and the other non-experienced (Although two/three experienced people will work as well). We choose applications off of your responses to the questions and your creativity for your application. What are the lodge options? Cartoon, Comic, Futuristic, Generative, Minimalistic, Realistic, Sketch, Traditional There are also two other lodges (Acrylic and Greyscale) which will be led by the co-hosts! With the new studio update, only the owner can change the description. How will this affect my work as (co)leader? SAC operates in the Newfoundland time zone, or NDT! This means dailies and weekendlies will change at midnight NDT! If you don’t know what time that is in your time zone, you can look it up.
