let's talk about some stuff i've been doing i'm not on scratch a lot bc i have a huge amount of other committments going on in my life. if you don't know i'm a high schooler, so i was busy with that for a while. i also almost failed several classes and had to take incompletes in two of them, so i've been finishing up that work too. i struggle with ADHD and autism and both of those made the school year really difficult for me. i was out for several months for mental health reasons, and that set me back really far. on top of that my adhd is poorly managed, leading to pretty bad executive dysfunction meaning i basically cannot get my brain to just do my schoolwork. on top of that i recently got a diagnosis of borderline personality disorder, and i've been worrying about recovery from that. so it's all just a lot to manage, and i haven't had time to be on scratch. around february of 2021 i started watching a minecraft streamer by the name of Punz. at the time he was speedrunning minecraft. from there i got heavily into the minecraft speedrunning community. i speedrun myself, and i've made unforgettable friendships. i'm a mod for several people too, which only takes up more of my time. overall i'm so glad i found the mcsr community. it changed my life for the better, and i owe everything to people like auxtin, doug, k4yfour, buggy, feinberg, kyrri, and cherry. that's basically the reason why i've been off scratch. mental health, schoolwork, and speedrunning are my top 3 priorities right now and when i'm not doing that i'm doing things like researching my hyperfixations. scratch is a website that shaped me and gave me so much, and although i may be less active i will never forget the connections i made, the people i met, and the improvements i made. i'll try to come by and post more art dumps, unfortunately i can't link my socials where i post my art as that's not allowed on scratch. anyways, here's to 6 unforgettable years of scratch. i give endless thanks. love you all so much /pl
