Description

Wow! 30 Chapters! I'll do a special project for this :D Wolfshard and Eagle ' Talon (and Embersnake oops) belong to @RingingBells Wadekit and Mellowkit belong to @Luckyy- Crimsonkit belongs to @trombonehermione Sunpaw and Birdflower belong to me. --> Story <-- Eagletalon's head whipped around, sending pebbles flying at her paws. She heard a cry for help over by where Oakheart and Spottedleaf were talking. She raced over to where the medicine cat was grappling with Redstar, long red scratches dug into her tortoiseshell face. "Stop!" Eagle'talon cried. She was about to jump in the battle when a flash of grey stopped her. "Leave this to me, Eagle'talon." Graystripe hissed. Eagle'talon stepped back as the large grey tom leapt on Redstar from behind, spun the leader on his back, and pinned him down. "Stop this, Redstar!" "Get off me!" Redstar spat. "Tigerclaw! Tigerclaw, get this traitor off me!" Tigerclaw bounded over, ready to attack Graystripe, but the grey cat was standing his ground. Eagle'talon grabbed Spottedleaf by the scruff and dragged her away from her vicious brother. Redstar sat up, shaking with fury. "How dare you," He spat at Graystripe. "You disgust me, you horrible traitor." The leader seemed to pull himself together, though, and huffed. "ThunderClan, get over here now!" He yowled. Oakheart sat there, his eyes unmoving, his expression masked. "This Clan is full of traitors, and I can't get rid of them." He growled. "I'm inviting a few of my loyal warriors to come with me and rebuild my real Clan." --> Part 2 (of ch. 30) <-- Embersnake groaned as she sat on the mossy bed, her ribs showing through her pelt. She had hunted twice as hard as any cat, knowing her Clan needed prey. She remembered hunting in the burnt undergrowth with Birdflower, only two sunrises ago. Both cats stayed silent, until Embersnake caught a scrawny mouse. "Good catch," Birdflower nodded approvingly. Then Firetail came crashing through and said something about hunting with him, and Birdflower recoiled. Embersnake had hissed at Birdflower, but Firetail didn't notice. "Actually, I think you should hunt with Embersnake. I'm tired," Birdflower sighed. She shot Embersnake a meaningful glance as she walked away. Embersnake realized then, that Birdflower wasn't trying to hurt her. She was trying to be her friend again. Embersnake snapped out of the past, as another wave of hunger passed over her. "Goodness, Embersnake. I think you're sick," Birdflower sat up from a shady rock where she made her nest. "I haven't eaten in a while," She admitted. "Well, you don't smell good either. I suggest going to see Sunpaw?" Embersnake felt a wave of joy, as she remembered what it was like to talk with the younger warrior. She got up and walked over to where Sunpaw and Mudfur had made their makeshift medicine den. It felt strange, how the apprentice and the RiverClan cat had seemed so alike and willing to work together. She ducked into the rocky cave and saw Spottedleaf lying down on the moss. She looked as if she had been scratched and bitten, and she wondered what had happened. Mudfur was applying herbs to the ThunderClan medicine cat. "Thanks, Mudfur." Spottedleaf purred. "No problem. Sunpaw was the one who suggested the herb poultice." Spottedleaf sighed. "He should get his name soon." Embersnake cleared her throat and Mudfur's head shot up. "Oh, another ThunderClan warrior. What do you need?" "I've been feeling sick," Embersnake flicked her ears at Mudfur. "Sunpaw," Mudfur called, "Can you check Embersnake for me while I finish with Spottedleaf?" Sunpaw's golden head popped out of a small rock overhang. "Sure." Embersnake sat down near Sunpaw, who immediantly said, "You need food. How long have you been starving?" "Uhm. Maybe three days? Not too long." Sunpaw muttered something. "That's not long enough to starve you like this." Suddenly his head shot up. "Embersnake- uh. I don't know... exactly... how to say this but-" She felt a flush of cold run through her. "Embersnake, you're expecting kits." oh no
