This is the rules and criteria for people involved in the SMC Mapping Competition It is a creative mapping competition, and your score will be marked by how well you do into the categories. Currently in a WIP Map: The map can be made by anyone as long as you credit it, but if you have made your own map it'd be looked on more generously by the judges if it was well-made. Story: The story can be simple or complicated, as long as it isn't too confusing or weird. Depending on how well the story engages the audience will affect your score. Using realistic elements, lore and relations can help this. Slides: I know its meant to be creative, but keep it to a minium of 30 slides and max 250. It doesn't matter about the length, what matters is how well you engage the audience with the quality, effort and lore into your story. Visuals: Looking back onto the map criteria and how well you make the text box, war slides and effects will affect your score That's pretty much it for now. It's a WIP and I made this on my phone, so more will be added to this tomorrow as I add more relevant information. And there is only 1 rule: it has to be completely original, besides the map and flags at the very max.
