Firecracker fell onto a Russian battleship base during the future of Earth due to him accidentally activating his time warper while falling. When the Russians fired at him because he was an abomination, he time warped back to present day and accidentally took the Russians and their battleship. He promptly released a flurry of souped-up firecrackers and took down the ship. He then blasted off to join Megatron and the rest.
