Entered for "Icecrystal" "It's so.. cold" Ice was an ordinary cat prowling in the forest: struggling to survive, just another shadow in the waves of history. Yet, that was not the case: there was a fabled legend throughout these forests of a "foretold one" that would bring an end to the mindless winters of the forest. "So should the one foretold bring an end to the mindless winter with the crystals of the sea. They will wait for 7 days, until the winter drives them back into their haven: hence the fall of the mindless winter shall begin." Ice, one day, stranded and lost in the middle of winter-season: had found a cave for a haven and safety. Though, while she slept, peculiar blue crystals jabbed out of the points of the jagged rocks of the cave. Ice, scared out of her wits fled the cave at once. But shortly after 7 days did the cold drive her back into her not-so safe haven. "What..?" When she woke that day, shattered pieces of the crystals hung around her as if they were magnified to her. Hence she had the power to manipulate the blue crystals to her will, and in time her power would expand to the snowflakes and hails of the winter, and she ended the "mindless winter" though not in the way others had believed: she did so because now the winter was not mindless, but of one: hers. "And hence I changed my name to what it is today in representation of the blessing I have received from a friend of the cold..." No one knows where the peculiar crystals came from, perhaps from the dying breath of khoine? perhaps from the floor of the sea as the prophecy suggested? perhaps from the unconscious being of the winter itself? but no one knows. (that's just a slight prologue of something I might write about Ice crystal if I win her)
