Instructions

Please read the full desc: (it's long hehe-) Hi, so this is the script for episode one. The script is in this discussion forum: https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/532238/?page=1#post-5466765 Since some of this is singing, go into the sounds part of the different sprites inside the project, (there are three songs, and there is a sprite for each song) and listen to the recordings to know how to sing it. If you were in the trailer, you probably know what I mean, but if you don't feel free to ask. Try to sound as much like the recording as possible when recording the singing, but just with the notes you sing and the speed. (i doubt that makes sense-) You don't have to make your voice sound like mine lol. The recordings will be named a number, so, if it's the recording for the very first singing line in the song, it'll be one, for the second it'll be two, and so on. This is probably really confusing, so please ask questions if you need to. Please listen to all the recordings that say "PLEASE LISTEN," because they have some information in them that I'm too lazy to type into the desc. Composers, please don't compose music yet. I'm going to wait until I have all the songs put together for you guys to compose. :) If you aren't a composer, but still would like to maybe help compose some music, just ask, I'll be fine with that (although there's no guarantee the music you compose will be used). There are different deadlines for the speaking lines and singing lines, because I need the singing lines in sooner so that the composers can start composing. Singing parts are due in three weeks (August 15) Speaking parts are due in four weeks (August 22) Composers, I'll notify you about the composing when I've gotten all the singing parts in :) If you need more time, I'll most likely give you more time. Please record all of the lines with your character's name in front of them, wether they be sung or spoken. If you are a background character, then please record all the speaking lines that have your username by them. (if there are any, although I think most background characters have speaking lines in this episode.) For the singing lines, background characters record the lines that say "background characters" next to them. (if it wasn't already obvious lol) All background characters will record those parts, and I'll play everyone's part together, so make sure you're sounding as much like the recording as possible (don't try to sound like my voice though, just sing the same notes and go at the same speed). If you are a part of the cast that isn't a background character, feel free to record the ensemble parts, (the lines that say "background characters" next to them) but you don't have to. If there are multiple people singing one line, (for example, when it says background characters, or the names of two characters) please try and sound as much like the recording as you can, sing the same notes, same tempo, all that. I'll explain this is more detail in the recordings that tell you how to sing the lines. If you have any suggestions as to how I should set up the script in the future to make it easier to navigate and stuff, please tell me! If you have any changes you would like made to the script, please tell me! Personally, I don't like it that much, and I'm embarrassed to share it, but hopefully that's just me xD I'll listen to any suggestions you make. Also, anyone can help with the composing if they want to, not just the composers. Please no composing yet, though! Please remix this project and record your lines in your remix. Do NOT reply to the discussion forum, reply on the project instead, because I have no idea how to use the discussion forums and probably won't see your reply xD All the lines that say "spoken" next to them are spoken lines. All the lines that say "singing" next to them are sung, and you should be able to find the recording on how to sing them inside the project. I'd recommend reading the script all the way through before recording your lines, so that your lines make more sense, and you know how to say them. Please don't record anything in parenthesis. Oh, and backups, please don't record lines for any named character unless I ask you to, although feel free to record the ensemble parts if you want :) If you are a backup that has been given a part because the original actor has gone inactive, please record lines for that character (if that character is in the episode). Since most backups are also background characters, please record the background character parts, even if you have gotten a new role. I feel like I don't have enough background characters lol I should've cast more- (if I really need to, I might have to act as a background character, or ask someone who auditioned but wasn't casted if they want to be one.) I think I covered everything idk-

Description

as of right now, probably don't record the background character parts, seeing as the due date is really soon and i'd just have to redo putting the songs together and stuff. anyone with solos should get their lines in, but anyone else, i suggest you don't.
