He ruled the land as far as the eye could see, but still, there was a greater power that he sought. It was said that the stars could grant a worthy man unimaginable power, and the king believed himself more than worthy. So one night, he walked to the highest hilltop, and he called to the stars, begging them to grant him their power. The stars looked upon the king, but they saw the evil in him and knew that if they gave him this great power, he would wreak havoc. So the king was denied the power of the stars. But the king was a persistent man. And so he reached into the sky and ate the stars, every last one of them. Or so he thought. On the night the king ate the stars, through all the chaos and confusion, one of them escaped. One star survived that great massacre, and that star fell to the ground, vowing to avenge their fallen comrades. Darkniz was that star. Over time, he gained allies. Dizzi and Valor became his best friends, and they hatched a plot to overthrow the king. They started a riot in the square and set fire to the palace, and Dizzi even managed to get a clear shot at the king(which he missed), but in the end, they were taken prisoner. The king, now filled with the power of all the stars, created a prison; a floating castle in a void for them to spend an eternity in. Darkniz was sent to the dungeon, and his closest friends, Dizzi and Valor, were enchanted to forget their friendship and instinctively hate and distrust him. There, time had no meaning, and so many years passed in the castle. Other prisoners were sent there, too; people who had helped Darkniz in his quest to dethrone the king. None of them would let him out of the dungeon, no matter how he begged or pleaded. Eventually, years of isolation drove him mad, and he began to imagine there was another person in his dungeon. Her name was Caroline. She was Darkniz's best friend, and she was never real. Finally, on the hundredth year of his imprisonment, the enchantments placed on Dizzi and Valor began to fade, and they released him from the dungeon. Together, they were able to find a way out of the castle and back into the world. And that's as far as I've planned the story, but there's more.
okay uh i know it looks like he has fox ears those are horns and that is not a patch of black on his face, that's where part of his face cracked off when he fell from the sky i have seen people draw this man and all of them draw him like he's a fox dude he is not a fox dude
