Shockwave created Waveblast to stop the argument of who is better. But it all went wrong. Waveblast was crazy. He has no sanity and was too unpredictable as he couldn't even control himself. This mistake only worsened the argument- Soundwave blamed Soundblaster for the craziness and Soundblaster blamed Soundwave for the craziness. But the craziness was cause by a severe shortage on energon while powering up, so Waveblast had taken Dark energon to resupply his weakened body, not knowing it's side effects. This small mistake has made him one of the most insane Transformers ever, and he is constantly locked up in new cells as he always finds a way to break out. He was last known to have escaped.
