So, Disclaimer, I"M NOT HATING ON SCRATCH TEAM!! they do a lot for this website, I'm just saying that this update was a huge mistake. First, the restrictions. There are tons of studios that were destroyed by this update, many were super popular too. Now, managers are no longer able to edit anything in studios, making them curates with a fancy name. This was apparently to "help prevent studio raids and make it easier for owners to make and run a studio." I mean what?! how does that make any sense. 1, you only make people managers if you trust them, and 2, many studios need people to help them run it. This here has stopped at least 50% of studios, or negatively impacted them. Also, there is no button to invite followers, so this makes it impossible to spread news or for fan clubs. The limit for invites is also 40. 40! BRUH you can't make a decent studio with 40 people. That impacted at least 10% of studios. Then, they also decide to limit thread messages to 25 (or something like that) replies, saying that it will help studios feel more "inclusive' how! So many communities needed long threads too, like discussions on serious topics, like fighting racism. Now we can't have those with ease too. not to mention role-plays, they are impossible to do with these. (maybe 40% of studios ruined) Also, the design. 1. It is completely different from the old one, making it hard to use, and also, It's triggering for anyone with visual sensory or anything of that sort. Its just too big and its hard to look at. Plus it's really hard for a lot of people to use. Not very inclusive, which is a priority here on scratch. They gave no warning of this at all, no beta, no asking what people felt about it. Many people are leaving because of it. Bring back our old studios! - @-FlameIntros
