Ok, first of all, and let me get this clear, WHAT JUST HAPPENED TO OUR STUDIOS? Studios are probably by far the number one way scratchers can interact by sharing ideas, projects, and starting amazing things on Scratch. It's where minds merge to accomplish amazing feats, and since this new studio update came out, it seems less Scratchers have the ability to keep on doing that. Now before the ST takes down this project, let me remind you that on Scratch the number 1 amendment is FREEDOM OF SPEECH. And not just for things outside of Scratch, but inside it too, and the ability to share opinions about things the ST does to change the website that all us Scratchers know and love. And need I remind you, that what they changed in the studio update isn't just frustrating because they made a few changes to the studio, but because people with ADHD can get sensory overloads that can harm their minds. Many people are mad, and I included. What happens when someone leaves Scratch as a studio creator but the managers can't take over? What happens is an entire studio collapses just because of something the ST preferred not to include in a studio. At this point, managers have about just as much power as curators, which basically defeats the entire purpose of their existence. Role plays are a major part of Scratch, and now with the reply limit, it makes it nearly impossible for RP to continue. And not just that, but it makes it makes it a lot harder for people to communicate which is basically the reason why studios exist! Because of this new "update", hundreds of Scratchers are leaving Scratch because how studios are now presented is literally HARMING THEM. Another thing, HOW IN THE WORLD ARE SCRATCHERS GOING TO INVITE OTHER PEOPLE BY TYPING IN EACH INDIVIDUAL NAME? Answer, THEY AREN'T. No decent person is going to spend who knows how long looking through their list of followers, punching in their names one after the other until they have enough curators. Anyway, I think I'm done talking about all this drama, but needless to say people are upset and disappointed. And I know me and many other people hope that this petition will undo this ST nightmare.
