Yes, this is true. Floodpelt didn’t want anyone to know. She thought everyone would hate her if she had a kit. She realized after she was wrong. But she doesn’t know what to do now. If she said it, she thought Splashsun would hate her. Floodpelt never told him. Floodpelt just wants Splashsun to love her as a clanmate, instead of hating her as a mother. Splashsun always wanted to know his mother, but he never said that. The reason he wants to talk to other females, is to try and get to know them. He wants his mother to miss him so much that she just announces it. His father he never got to meet, because he died in order to keep the secret. His father, who is known as ‘Unknown’, never told his kit that they were kin. He pretends to be evil in order to keep the secret of Splashsuns mother and father. Splashsun was told one thing at birth, and that he would never forget. “Find your mother.” It said. “Because she won’t find you.”
Okay, I feel horrible for Splashsun now. Do you all understand the backstory? Good. So yes, Splashsun calls ‘Unknown’ a dark shadow. And he is. Unfortunately. Also, Floodpelt IS a good mother. She's actually protecting him. From the worst thing of all. Death. There is more to this then you think. Splashsun actually has a gift. It's his fur. Ever notice how it glows in the sunlight?
