oh boy, i just came back from a hiatus and holy schnitzel. Scratch what the heck have you done to the studio feature?? to keep this rant somewhat organized i'm using "=" to separate points,, i guess. ============ Aight so. First off, you removed the "invite followers" feature. scratch im sorry but someone with over 10 followers will not remember each follower's specific username. no offense but nobody is going to spend hours memorizing every one of their follower's users to invite em to a studio. ============ the layout. opinion warning, the new design stinks. it looks so squashed and floaty and weird. not a fan, at all. the old studio design/layout was so cozy and warm-looking. it fit well on screens- pc AND mobile- unlike this one. ============ comment limit??? Scratch are you kidding me???? okay, okay. i think i might know where this is coming from. It's because of the CWSUP4AM saga, isn't it? oh boy. okay. you took down every single studio in the saga, is that not enough? you don't need to take such drastic measures?? making studios have a comment limit completely destroys text-based rps, venting studios, chatting studios, every single type of studio! like, sorry to break it to ya st, but scratch is a safe place for a lot of kids n teens that are struggling irl or online. believe it or not, removing such important studio features may indirectly affect their mental health. also, not all of us are coders. sorry, but scratch isn't just a coding website anymore. it's become so much more than that and means so much to a lot of people, and you're slowly ruining those little things that made it so special for many. =========== there's probably more but i really don't feel like typing another 5 paragraphs and you probs don't wanna read it so yeah. i will say that i like the project browsing feature, but other than that it's all negatives. please try to find a better way to "modernize" scratch. idk, maybe ask the community before updating (more like downgrading, haha funny) one of the most important parts of scratch? sorry if this is harsh, i'm just really offset and annoyed. it feels like st only cares about the side of the community which are future game devs. like, that's really cool n all, but there's so much more to the scratch community. please just acknowledge our existence, and respect it. thanks. =========== just a few more notes. if you want to spread the word feel free to share the project or remix or smth, maybe make a project of your own, but if you agree with what i said please try to make your opinion heard. it matters, and st needs to see that.
