(This is only for people who are my campers in SWC Non-Fi Cabin for July 2021! My followers can ignore this lol) THERE WAS A FARMER WHO HAD A DOG…. And Bingo was his name-o! Pick up your Bingo card and play for prizes! Will something happen when you get Bingo? What about if you fill the whole board??? Instructions: Follow this link to get your Bingo card and take a screenshot or take a picture of it: https://mfbc.us/m/snfzz29 (There may be some duplicates among campers, that’s okay!) Remix this project and put your Bingo card image in it! (Remix with your name/nickname in the title please) When you complete a tile, use the brush/shape tool in the editor to mark it, or find some other fun way to cover up your tiles! As you mark your Bingo card by doing activities (more details on activity key BELOW), keep a log of what you did in your project description and when. For example, “7/5 - Daily activity” or “7/20 - Wrote a script”. If you posted the activity on Scratch, you should also give a link to it - so everyone can go check out and appreciate what you did! But we use the honors system, so please just be honest about your Bingo card and you don’t have to provide proof for everything. If/When you do get Bingo, let me know on my profile (so it doesn't get buried in studio comments). Also let me know if you manage to complete a whole board!
(BTW if anyone gets July 1 on their card there was no activity, so you can just mark it off) The activity KEY: =A date : Do the daily activity on that day! =A workshop: read and do the activity for the workshop when it gets posted! =Write a “_______” : Try to write whatever the tile asks (A short version that you can write within a few days) and share it to Scratch! (You can put them all in one project if you do multiple of these) I will try to create workshops where I go over the basics of all of these items, but feel free to do it yourself or try it yourself if you’re feeling eager! =”________” DIY: Write a DIY Project tutorial on how you would make that project (and do it yourself!). Be resourceful and use things you already have at home. ++For the journal, it can just be a DIY on making your own custom cover. How can we make our writing space more fun? ++The ideas board should be a place either to seek inspiration or put up your own ideas and thoughts in your room. =Book/Movie Report: Write about a book or movie you have read that you enjoyed… or really hated! Try to explain what it was about and WHY you liked or disliked it on a writing level in particular. =Pixar’s Rules of Storytelling: Look up the PROS and make yourself a Scratch project or a physical booklet / poster set with the rules on it so you can learn and remember them! =Invent a Character: Make up a new character and tell us about them! =Word War : Do a word war with someone else online (you both choose a time limit and try to write as much as possible within that time). It’s just for fun and you can mark it off even if you wrote less than your opponent! =Choose Your Challenge - Do any of these things! (just say what it is you did when you mark it off). NO-NOs: -Don’t do a daily activity after the day has passed to put it on Bingo. This game is partially to encourage you to participate in main cabin events, and dailies only count on the day they are active! So you do them or you don’t do them. -Don’t lie about your bingo card. That’s just kinda sad. The prizes aren’t groundbreaking… but I’m still working hard to make each of them, so please respect me, NonFi, and the time of the coleaders. -Don’t contest other people’s Bingo cards and calls. Not worth it. -Don’t try to do this without reading and understanding all the instructions. Read it twice! Writing is Reading! -Don’t use more than one bingo card. It’s too confusing and also kind of cheating. Problems? -Sometimes you might have a workshop that is also the same day as a daily activity you have. That’s a mistake on my part, so if you do the workshop and its activity, you can mark off both (note it in your Bingo card so we know). -Lost track of your Bingo? Sorry, there’s not much I can do… but you can always try again from scratch (no pun intended lol)
