Hello everyone! This is Joshuapuffles here with the third and last entry of my new WKIA Remnant series! What’s this about, you may or may not be asking? Well, back in 2020, I started a speculative evolution series called Wild Kawahal Island Adventures, which focused on a group of scientists exploring an island in the Indian Ocean filled with unique and colorful wildlife not seen anywhere else. The series had 2 Episodes so far, and was off to a good start, but as I started to focus more on school and began to lose motivation for the series, it unfortunately had to come to a close. I made two more attempts at a second season or a successor to WKIA, but those were also shut down as well due to a lack of motivation. So it seems this is where the series ends forever, right? Well… not exactly… you see, I’m a little interested in making a new reboot series for WKIA to give it another chance. I mean, it had a lot of potential, and I should’ve had more motivation and time to continue it; plus, it’s been a while since I’ve done anything related to WKIA, and it was a lot of fun working on those two episodes. Since this’ll be a reboot, there might be a major overhaul of the island and its creatures, but it’s just so things are a bit more realistic, at least than before. These are all the plans so far, everything else I will have to think for more ideas later. So, if you’re interested in this reboot and want to see WKIA return in a way, please let me know in the comments! :) But as we consider a possible reboot in the works, I’d figure I would show what was left of the 3 cancelled episodes of WKIA that were almost lost to time and never seen before… until now. This episode was the last attempt at a WKIA Season 2, or the “spinoff” season as I called it this time; now this was gonna be called Wild Kawahal Island Adventures: Kawahal Islands Explorer! This one had the MOST progress done out of the previous 3 cancelled episodes, and is my personal favorite; it would’ve starred a new robot character by the name of BEEBEE, who would guide the viewer on an adventure to the Kawahal Islands by teleporting them throughout the archipelago and letting them explore the creatures as they moved around, and clicking on one of the unique animals would have BEEBEE explain details on the selected creature (though sadly I never got to implement that feature here). This episode has a rather long but interesting into which can be skipped if you so please. There was meant to be four different biomes in this episode: a small pond, a mangrove forest, a forest floor, and a forest canopy, though only the small pond is viewable here since it contains the only two species in this unfinished project, that being the Common Mizutori and a new animal, the Nantid Shrew. However, the other three biomes are still viewable inside the project. There was going to be way more creatures in this episode, I think all of the species from the first and second episodes of the original WKIA series so far were meant to return, as well as most of the fanmade creatures made by some of my friends. You might also notice that this project has a lot of animations and movement, such as the waves near the end of the intro and the moving Mizutorids and Nantid Shrews on the lily pads. I honestly wish I could’ve finished this part and released it earlier, but, of course, a lack of motivation, this time combined by the fact that this might’ve been a lot of work and would’ve taken a long time to complete, essentially with planning to include a ton of creatures and giving them smooth animations. I had a lot of plans for this series, but sadly I never got to use a lot of them. Sad sigh… Well, that’s it for this entry of WKIA Remnants! I hope you enjoy what was left of this lost WKIA episode. Hopefully, if you guys are interested, I could give the WKIA series another chance and create a brand new squeaky clean reboot series, since there’s a couple of stuff I feel like I could’ve done differently… but I would be down to return to WKIA since it was one of my very first big projects on Scratch, and I feel like this had a lot of potential! Just hoping that history doesn’t repeat itself, though… But until then, Waddle On! Remnant #1: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/456332819/ Remnant #2: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/508455809/
