CW: Purple ketchup. Lots of purple ketchup. Quick explanation of what's happening - Wry (Bird girl) and Reede (Bat boy) are part of a species of mine called Shae, alien creatures from another planet that have moved to earth after their homeworld was destroyed. As you could guess, human's aren't very fond of them, so they're fighting a war for Shaeshan independence. Reede and Wry both get caught in a large explosion while trying to liberate some Shaeshan captives and are both injured.
