Hey everyone! It's been a while since I posted a project. Today I have for you a lot of really random art. I hope you like it! As for controls, click each number to see a different piece of art. There are several versions or parts to most of them. Use the space key, arrow keys, or arrows on the screen to cycle through them. To go back to the first screen and see more art, click the center of the screen or click the house button in the upper lefthand corner. You can control the volume of the music with the circles in the right corner. Tell me if you have any questions about the controls! For some backstory behind the pieces. They're in approximate chronological order from when I drew them: 1. This is a little drawing I made of Violet Baudelaire from A Series of Unfortunate Events. It's actually a redraw of a sketch for the six fanarts challenge that was going around the internet a year ago. You can see a comparison on the second slide. 2. Here are the illustrations from a little picture book I made for my Spanish class. The words were originally in Spanish for the project haha. That's why they sound kinda strange. 3. My school had a really weird prom this year because of Covid; it was more like a carnival than a prom. This was the outfit I wore, and I thought it would be fun to draw a little doodle of me wearing it. 4. This was also for school; an English assignment. These are called Loteria cards, which are like Latin American bingo. They're based on some items that are important to the storyline of a free-reading book that I read. "El Arete" means "the earring", "Las Lechuzas" is like "the owls", and "La Mariposa" is "the butterfly". 5. I've become a little obsessed with Olivia Rodrigo this year, so I wanted to draw her SOUR album cover :D You can see the original on the last slide here. I'm sure everyone's heard one of her songs, she's so popular. But if you haven't listened, you should! 6. I'm also pretty obsessed with Lizzy McAlpine's music this year. I drew her too. There's a bunch of different edits of this piece with filters haha. If you haven't checked her out, I would suggest listening :D 7. The last pieces are the prizes for the "Sprite Contest" that I hosted a while ago on my other account, @komponera. Sorry I made these so late, prize winners!! Anyway, this one is for @Daizy_Gaming, who won an icon for third prize. I hope you like it! Here's the sta.sh link for a better quality version that you can download easily: https://sta.sh/0mgf0yd0g0u 8. Here's the second place prize, for @coding_bunny. They got a colored half-body prize. I couldn't figure out the pose for this one for the longest time. Eventually, I decided to base it on a photo I took of @Jeila/@geijutsu :D. I hope you like this one too! https://sta.sh/2186hgb9bob0 9. @Cupcake_06 got first prize, so here is their character in a full background. The character is an ice cream witch, so I drew them in an ice cream world with ice cream mountains and an ice cream truck. I may have gone a little overboard with this prize, but I've never really drawn a car before like this, so it was good practice. :D I hope you like it! https://sta.sh/21tytawd0i7m That's this project!! I really hope you enjoyed it! You're an angel if you actually read through this whole Notes and Credits section. It was so long haha. PS. There's a little surprise in the project, see if you can find it without looking inside the coding. In the comments, tell me what kind of projects I should make next. I never have any good ideas haha. I feel like I only make art dumps. I'd like to branch out more and also improve my coding skills, so I'd really appreciate it if you did leave a comment. Credits - Art - Me Coding - Me Characters belong to @Daizy_Gaming, @coding_bunny @Cupcake_06, and me. Art pieces based on books are from the Series of Unfortunate Events and Summer of the Mariposas. Also pictured are Lizzy McAlpine and Olivia Rodrigo. Music - hope ur ok - Olivia Rodrigo, Give Me a Minute - Lizzy McAlpine, or Means Something - Lizzy McAlpine. Only fair to put their music in the project haha.
