Backstory: Kathy grew up on the island for a while before her family died in a car crash. Kat lived, but at a price of losing her tail. Then she met Tails (oh the irony). He helped her out and gave her an iron tail. She was inspired by him and learned she was pretty handy with electronics, making them what she liked to call "THE GREATEST NERDS OF ALL TIME". She hangs out with Tails, and treats him like a little brother, similiar to the relationship that Sonic and Tails have. Sometimes, Tails goes off with Sonic and the gang on adventures, but Kathy usually stays home, knowing he will come back soon.
