Although he was uncredited in the movie, actor and recording artist Drew Seleey actually sang the majority of Zac Efron’s vocals in this song as well as the other songs that that he is portrayed to be singing in this movie due to the music being out of his vocal range at the time. In the case of “Breaking Free,” Zac Efron’s vocals are only present in the first verse and the rest of Efron’s parts are done by Seeley.
