Instructions

Here's the creature guide for my upcoming series, Ferras Alley! It features Zealot, a young explorer who's taken on inventing due to his father's love for mechanisms. But something's lurking below the city- a dark power who's made it his goal to swallow the Alley. Without further ado... the creatures; Humans: A race who ultimately hates Submumans, most are jealous of the other beasts who have abilities that outmatch human qualities. Subhumans: A whole species of races that branches off into subspecies, these are the inhuman beasts, ones who aren't human; Shapeshifters... The most common Subhumans, they can shift into one (and only one) type of animal. It's rare for one to possess an elemental ability but elementals do exist. Harpies... Or simply winged people. Their wings are either feathered or webbed, bug-like wings are reserved for fae/harpy hybrids. Fae... Also known a Faeries (or fairies), this is a subspecies of harpy which developed their own culture and even abilities that Harpies lack. But abilities are uncommon, even the more common ones such as flora, fauna, or even aqua. Centaur... A horse with the top half of a human instead of a neck, they're fast and strong, many are soldiers and experienced warriors. They have an advantage over both horse and man, as they have six limbs and strong legs, as well as two arms which are used to grip weapons. Many centaurs are police or even mercenaries. Faun... Ah yes, the half-goat-half-human mix, they generally have goat legs with thick fur and a human torso. But some are more humanoid... or animalistic. They generally have horns but some lack the bony growths. They mainly take on the laborious jobs, such as moving objects or fixing roofs. Sometimes they even become farmhands, plowing fields and harvesting crops. Dark Fae... Yes, these are different than Faeries. They are more dragon-like, with horns that sprout from their heads and large, feathered or bat-like wings that extend from their backs. In rare cases, they might possess other birdlike, batlike, or even dragonlike features such as scales, feathers, fur, or a tail. They mainly exceed in fauna control and in rare instances, fire or even light manipulation. Werewolf (quadrupedal)... The classic man-shifts-into-wolf-at-full-moon, but these guys can somewhat speed up the process to shift into their wolf form. They become a feral, bear dog-like beast which sole purpose is to hunt and devour any living thing in sight. The strong-minded can target what they hunt, most use that ability to hunt animals instead of people. Werewolf (bipedal)... These can shift if they become to angry or emotional, and always go into a frenzy at full moon. They take on a wolf-like appearance that looks startlingly human, with a stout muzzle and long limbs. Merfolk... Humans with aquatic tails and fins, they can have the tail of any aquatic creature. Korrigan... Celtic faerie-people who can take on a different appearance once in a while. They are mainly seen a criminals for their ability to change their face and hide among crowds, making it easy for them to commit a crime and get away with it. Although one downfall is that their voice cannot change, when their on the job, they take a pledge of silence. Kobolds... Untrustworthy goblin-like creatures that can either be seen as help or mischievous creatures. They're mainly black market dealers or thieves. Veela... Beautiful Subhumans that take the form of a woman. They are singers who lead travelers away from their paths and bring storms. They are vile creatures, like sirens, but deadlier. Werefolk... Unlike werewolves, these can't shift between forms. They're stuck in between human and beast. Werefolk are a result of a Shapeshifter birth defect, or a hybrid between a werewolf and shapeshifter. And that concludes the Subhuman species! || Previous Ferras Alley project; https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/548811854/ || Next; ||

Description

All the mythical beasts (with the exception of Werefolk and Shapeshifters) were taken from extensive research on each creature. Some are Celtic, Greek, and even Romanian and Slavic. These beasts are not property of Disney, Amazon, or any other film company, and were modified using Fictional Artistic License to fit the series.
