Zealot, a new oc and main character for a new book I will be writing on Scratch! (Book teaser below) Ashes fell from the sky and onto the stony streets, giving the cobblestone road a covering of white and black specks. The sky above glowed red, and what looked like clouds that blanketed the sky- was smoke. Nobody could go ten steps outside without being pelted in white or without a wave of red-brown smoke blasting them. The slate-grey roofs of every house in sight was enveloped in white. It was as if there was snowfall- but the air was hot and smokey. A dark shape padded across the ground, he wore one gauntlet with long, talon-like claws that scraped on the rocky street. He paced up to one of the larger Victorian homes that lined the street and reached out a paw to knock. "I wouldn't." A voice called from behind him. He whirled around, claws extending. A female cat stood there, her caramel fur covered in ash. "Don't stop me." He snarled, lashing his long tail. The female huffed. "You can't stop him, it won't make a difference." He turned back to the door and knocked. "I told you, don't stop me." He threw over his shoulder as he was let into the dark home. He heard a small voice behind him, the starting of the last plea. "Zealot-" The door closed and her pleading was cut short. *** This is the prologue, so there will be much more after that will explain how Zealot and this unnamed girl got to where they are! This will be a 'series' of chapters (or pages) that I'll type on Scratch. It consists of a pre/post-apocalyptic steampunk setting with a bit of fantasy! Some humans are shapeshifters and have two forms, human and one animal/beast. Mythical creatures do exist but are rare... but some people, monstrous, vile people, take advantage of others to do their bidding. ~~~ Zealot Male Subhuman Shapeshifter Explorer/inventor 13 years old! His mother is deceased, she was a messenger. His father is an inventor and mechanic, and teaches Zealot all sorts of tricks. His goggle has features that can stamp time, date, location, or even tap into some mechanical objects' blueprints. And his glove has semi-retractable claws!

It will contain some blood but not too much! I will be making an informational project on the lore and book species (as a kind of guide) so that anyone who reads it won't be confused
