i haven't been in the fandom very long, about a year. i've been doing more fnaf stuff again and i think it's time i spoke a shorter and scratch appropriate opinion in this. i do not agree with scott's donations, but i do believe he is a wonderful person. he has helped so many people through tough times, including me. when i first discovered fnaf years ago, i was terrified and didn't touch or go near it. i laugh at the memory now. i've taken the time to understand and love it. whenever i was feeling down and upset with life, i'd go watch a fnaf video featuring an old trailer or dawko or markiplier. fnaf is a big reason i am still here on this planet and still smile. i've made friends because of fnaf. i'm more extroverted and enjoy public speaking because of fnaf. scott inspired me. content creators, artists, sfm makers, music makers, fangame makers. they all inspired me. to be the person i am today. i'm scared to think of who i'd be without fnaf. thank you scott, for not just helping me, but millions of people. i hope you enjoy your retirement peacefully.
